Jupiter with 150 mm refractor telescope


Jupiter the biggest planet of our solar system captured with a 150 mm (6 inch) achromatic refractor Telescope equiped with a Chromacor. I used a Tou Cam Philips web cam and a 2x barlow witha tele-extender to get a decent magnification on the chip, this was made on a night with a steady atmosphere, goos astronomical seeing.

Space Videography – Jupiter


First test video of Jupiter using the Vivitar Refractor Telescope and Xbox 360 Vision Camera. Note that Jupiter was actually moving from the lower left to the top right but due to how the optics work on a refractor telescope the direction is reversed and flipped.
